Our program provides employment and training services to Native Americans/American
Indians, Native Hawaiians, and Native Alaskans that reside within the 121 county
designated service area of the State of Texas. This website serves as a point of
access for our services as well as a manner of submitting an application for employment
with the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas.
It is the vision of the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Tribal Council Employment & Training
Program to provide the framework whereby Native Americans/American Indians, Native
Hawaiians, and Native Alaskans are able to increase their skill levels and are afforded
employment and economic opportunities by fostering programs that create economic
growth and prosperity. It is the goal for this program to strengthen the Native
American/American Indians, Native Alaskans, and Native Hawaiians’ ability to improve
their economic outlook yet retain their traditions.
Furthermore, it is the mission of the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Tribal Council Employment
& Training Program to provide quality educational and employment opportunities to
our Native American/American Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Native Alaskan clients
in our service delivery area by reaching out into communities and joining forces
with business leaders, workforce boards, service providers, and educational institutions
to ensure participants are well prepared to meet the opportunities of employment
such that they may take advantage of progressive career opportunities.
